23.11.2010: Contribution of Innovensys to the GETPRO congress

The 3rd congress on gearbox manufacturing takes place in Würzburg on the 29th and 30th March 2011. We are delighted to announce that this year a paper with the topic "Influence from production on the quality of bevel gears" by Mr Stephan Watrin of the Daimler AG was selected as part of the demanding program. The co-authors of the paper are Prof. Hansgeorg Binz of the University of Stuttgart und Bert van de Lindeloof of Innovensys.

The GETPRO congress is organized by the Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik e.V., a non-profit association with the aim of promoting joint research and education in the field of drive engineering. The FVA is part of the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagebau e.V.) and is the world's leading network for drive engineering. The aim of the FVA conferences is to build communities and to cover strategically important fields of drive engineering.

The main topic of the GETRPO congress 2011 is the world of gear drives with all their contributing components. It offers a great variety of topics ranging fromrequirements-driven gear design via the manufacturing of single components to assembly, as well as countermeasures for failure-free operation. Furthermore, the congress offers the possibility to benefit from the experience of manufacturers and users as well as to exchange knowledge and experience.

Mr Watrin is employed at Daimler AG in Research & Development and Advanced Engineering, Product Modeling and Knowledge Integration (GR/PPP). He will present on 30th March 2011 at 4:10 pm in the Frankonia Saal at the MARITIM Hotel - Congress Center Würzburg. Presentations can be downloaded after wards.
