This presentation shows the methodology to analyze the sensitivity of bevel gear designs with respect to torque transmission behaviour using computer simulation. Non-uniform torque transmission is considered as a key contributor to structure-borne sound emission.

Keywords:
Bevel Gears, Design of Experiments, Sensitivity Analysis, Monte-Carlo Analysis, Computer Simulation
